Mr. Eaton has dedicated more than 30 years to helping children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families heal from trauma and overcome the challenges that often accompany it. His areas of expertise include trauma, compulsive sexual behaviors and sexual addiction, depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, marital and relationship difficulties, and self-destructive or violent behaviors.

He has lectured nationally on sexual trauma within families and on treatment approaches for children, adolescents, and adults. He has been accepted as an expert witness in both state and federal courts and has testified in hundreds of criminal cases across the country.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Eaton served in a leadership capacity at a maximum-security treatment hospital and as Clinical Director of a children's psychiatric hospital. He also consulted on the development of a specialized residential trauma program for children and adolescents who were victims or perpetrators of sexual abuse. Since 1992 he has been Owner and Clinical Director of Adult & Child Counseling & Psychiatric Center, PA. He is also a Qualified Clinical Supervisor and a certified hypnotherapist.

Mr. Eaton believes healing begins in a supportive, compassionate environment where no one has to face life's struggles alone. He understands that unresolved trauma and painful experiences can continue to affect relationships, emotional well-being, and daily life. His goal is to help patients understand the impact of their past, develop healthier coping strategies, and move toward lasting healing and personal growth.

His integrative approach to psychotherapy draws on psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Therapy (RET), and clinical hypnosis, allowing treatment to be tailored to each person's needs. He provides therapy for individuals, couples, families, and therapy groups, with specialized treatment for trauma, compulsive sexual behaviors, and addiction.
