Sharon Gearin regards the choice to engage in therapy as a life-changing decision, whether it is a patient's first time reaching out or a return to therapy. Her treatment style is systems-oriented and solution based, with a cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic focus. Sharon has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings addressing mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, dissociative disorders, and eating disorders. She takes a collaborative approach, working alongside each patient to develop a plan that fits their needs.
Sharon brings over 30 years of experience working with patients from childhood through geriatric age, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
