Our office is a few minutes across the causeway from the beachside communities.
We see patients from Satellite Beach, Indialantic, Melbourne Beach, Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral at our office on N Wickham Rd in Melbourne, a short drive across the causeway. This is the closest of the areas we serve, and for most beachside patients we are the nearest practice offering psychiatry and therapy together.

Patrick Space Force Base sits on this stretch of the barrier island, and Satellite Beach and Cocoa Beach carry a substantial military, veteran and contractor population. Brevard County's veteran share is roughly double the national figure.
On-base behavioural health runs during weekday duty hours, which does not suit every family and does not cover dependents in every case. We accept TRICARE, and we see spouses, children and retirees as well as service members.
Close enough for a regular cadence
Proximity changes what is clinically realistic. Weekly therapy is genuinely sustainable from the beaches in a way it is not from Vero Beach, and treatment that depends on a regular rhythm works better when the journey is short.
If you are early in deciding whether to start, the short drive is worth weighing. The most common reason people stop attending is not the treatment. It is the logistics.
